Patient Services and Data Assistant (Manila)
Bringing high-quality care closer to where families live—and turning real patient experience into better health systems.
About odoVita
odoVita is a community-based primary health care initiative working in an underserved urban settlement in Manila. Our work focuses on children and their families, providing care in line with WHO and international standards, while strengthening continuity of care and reducing barriers through proximity, follow-up, and community engagement.
What sets odoVita apart is the combination of hands-on clinical care with experience in global health, policy, and research. The same team that sees patients in the clinic and community also contributes to guidelines, research, and system-level work. This allows us to bring real patient experiences into discussions that shape standards and policies, and to apply those standards in settings where access to care is most limited.

This is not a traditional charity model. It is a professional, outcome-oriented initiative, implementing evidence-based standards of both clinical practice and health systems work. The aim is to improve outcomes for individual patients, while using these experiences to inform better ways of delivering care more broadly.

Our work is grounded in the reality that meaningful change comes from combining consistent, practical care for patients and families with the ability to translate these experiences into evidence and to inform better ways of delivering care globally.

Despite one in eight people globally living in informal urban settlements, there remains a striking paucity of data on their health needs, access to care, and outcomes—gaps we aim to address through our work.

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Patient Registration and Data Assistant to support patient registration and clinical data management in a community-based primary health care clinic serving one of Manila’s most underserved populations.

This is a strengthened patient registration and data management role that supports continuity of care, follow-up systems, and effective use of clinical information.

Why This Role Matters
